| Day 1 | BHUBANESWAR ARRIVAL | Meet and greet on arrival Bhubaneswar at Bhubaneswar airport and transfer to hotel. Rest of the day free for own activities and ready to start a long tour of 03 weeks. Overnight stay at Bhubaneswar. |
| Day 2 | BHUBANESWAR | Morning :: Heritage walk in the Old temple town which will cover the impressive miniature temples, water tanks, small shrines, traditional bazaars. Also experience the authentic Hindu worship inside the temple.
Afternoon :: Enjoy the sunset visiting the ancient Jain Caves at Khandagiri and Udaygiri hill tops. |
| Day 3 | BHUBANESWAR – NUAPATNA – JORANDA – DHENKANAL | After breakfast at the hotel, leave for weaver village at Nuapatna to witness the live weaving done by the traditional weavers. After lunch visit the Dokra Metal worker village at Sadeibareni. During sun set visit the great temple at Joranda where the unique Mahima Sadhus (Holy Men) offer the holy prayer for the sake of universal peace and harmony. Overnight stay at the Dhenkanal Palace – A heritage property. |
| Day 4 | DHENKANAL – DHAULI – HEERAPUR – PIPLI – KONARK | After breakfast leave for Konark on way visiting
– Unique Sixty Four Yogini Temple amidst the peaceful surrounding. – Then visit the Bell metal worker Village at Balakati. – Witness the colourful appliqué work village at Pipli. – Visit the fisher man village at Konark. Overnight stay at Konark. |
| Day 5 | KONARK – RAGHURAJPUR (THE PAINGINT VILLAGE) – PURI | Early in the morning enjoy the beautiful sunrise at Chandrabhaga beach. Come back to hotel and fter breakfast visit the Sun Temple in the morning – a poem in the stone and world heritage site. Then visit the farmer village.
Enjoy the 2nd half of the day in around the artisan and painter village called Raghurajpur / Nayakpatna / Dandasahi. The highlights of this day will be Gotipua Dance (performed by young boys looking alike girls), short walk and the ever smiling people. Overnight in a beach side hotel at Puri. |
| Day 6 | PURI LOCAL SIGHTSEEING | Morning heritage walk with Greenrider rickshaw ride in the traditional holy city Puri covering old buildings, water tanks, craft centre & small shrines. Also visit the great Jagannath temple from the roof top of the Raghunandan Library (Centuries Old Building).
Afternoon visit various villages inside Puri like Kumbarpada – temple pottery village, Pathuria sahi stone carver village, chitrakar sahi – painter village. Enjoy the sunset walk along the beach market. Overnight stay in the same hotel. |
| Day 7 | PURI – CHILIKA LAGOON – BARKUL | After breakfast leave Puri and drive to Barkul at Chilika Lake (the 2nd largest Brackish Lake in Asia). Before that take a short drive to Mangalajodi to enjoy the boat ride in the lap of Chilika Lagoon – and Ramsar site. You will see the various migratory birds and residential birds while rowing country boat ride into the various backwater creeks. Also you may see the boat making activity. And enjoy the lunch in the local restaurant run by the local community.
Afternoon take a short catamaran ride in the lake during sun set. Overnight stay in a hotel overlooking to the lake. |
| Day 8 | BARKUL – CHANDRAGIRI – TAPTAPANI | AM – Drive to Taptapani to enjoy the stay in a hotel amidst the lush green forest and natural hot spring. You will truly enjoy the hot sulpher bath in your own room.
PM – Short drive to Chandragiri Tibbetian village where nearly ten thousand Tibetan refugees settled. It’s worth to visit their carpet making work shop and the monastery. Also enjoy the one of the biggest monastery called Jirang and you can witness the small children learning Buddhism coming from outside of India as well. Overnight stay in the hotel at Taptapani. (BASIC FACILITIES WILL BE PROVIDED) |
| Day 9 | TAPTAPANI – LANJIA SAURA VILLAGE – RAYAGADA | AM – After breakfast departure for Rayagada. On the way you will be visiting the Aryan tribal village popularly known as Lanjia Saura. Explore their life style during a small walk to their village. Their main occupation is farming on traditional way as they use the wooden plough, hoe etc. Visit to the Shaman house to see the rare mudwall painting will be the highlights of this village.
PM – Enjoy the drive through jungles, hill tracks en-route visiting more villages. Overnight in a standard hotel at Rayagada. |
| Day 10 | RAYAGADA – KUTIA KONDH VILLAGE & MARKET – RAYAGADA (IT MUST BE A TUESDAY) | AM – Early morning have your breakfast at the hotel and departure for Kotagad region to meet Kutia Kondh tribes (TATTOO FACED). These tribes assemble at their weekly market, also visit their villages and back to Rayagada.
PM – Afternoon drive to Dukum region to make soft trek to different villages like pottery maker village, tribal jewellery maker village & Desia Kondh villages. Back to the hotel at Rayagada for a comfortable stay. |
| Day 11 | RAYAGADA – CHATIKONA – TRIBAL MUSEUM @ KORAPUT – JEYPORE (WEDNESDAY) | Early departure for Chatikona region to meet interesting Dongariya Kondh Tribes the high landers at their weekly market. Then continue your drive to Jeypore visiting few tribal villages doing bamboo crafts. Also visit the tribal museum at Koraput. Enjoy the sunset visit to the hilltop Jagannath temple. Wait for the evening temple ritual to see the authentic pooja. Overnight stay in a hotel at Jeypore. |
| Day 12 | JEYPORE – ONUKUDELI – JEYPORE (MUST BE THURSDAY) | Morning drive to Machakund region to meet interesting Bonda tribes at their weekly market at Onukudeli. They are significantly different from the other tribes for the isolated community and the geographic location. They are very colourful for their jewellery, ornaments and their body stature. Also meet two more different tribes called Gadaba & Didayi tribes in this market. Then return towards your hotel enjoying few Gadaba villages on the way. Overnight stay at Jeypore. |
| Day 13 | JEYPORE – KUNDULI – JEYPORE (MUST BE FRIDAY) | Morning after breakfast leave for Kunduli to witness the biggest tribal market at Kunduli of Paroja Tribes and their villages. Come back to Jeypore visiting on way Nimika the Pottery Making Village. The most unique part of this village is that, all the villagers come to one place to do pottery. Nice village and photogenic place. Overnight stay at Jeypore. |
| Day 14 | JEYPORE – GUPTESWAR – BALIGAON (MUST BE SATURDAY) | After breakfast drive to Gupteswar to visit the secret cave shrine for the tribal god. Enjoy the jungle walk along the river side. To meet dhuruba tribes at their village. Afternoon visit of Baligaon weekly market of Dhuruba tribes. Then come back to Jeypore and overnight stay. |
| Day 15 | JEYPORE – KOTAPAD TEXTILE VILLAGE – TRIBAL MUSEUM – JAGDALPUR (SUNDAY) | After breakfast say bye to Jeypore and proceed to Jagdalpur. On way you will be visiting the Kotpad textile village. The weavers are using the natural dying like clay, plant’s bark & roots and make beautiful shawls. You can see the live weaving. Also visit Nagarnar the terracotta making village and then check into your hotel. Overnight stay at Jagdalpur. |
| Day 16 | JAGDALPUR – BISON HORN MURIA TRIBAL VILLAGE – TOKAPAL MARKET (MONDAY) | Morning visit the tribal museum and wood craft at Jagdalpur. Then visit few Muria Tribes in their villages and witness the traditional dance called “Bison Horn”. Afternoon visit of Chitrakoot Waterfall (known as Niagara Fall of India) during sun set to get the picture perfect. Come back to hotel and stay overnight. |
| Day 17 | JAGDALPUR – KANKER (TUESDAY) | After breakfast check out from Jagdalpur hotel and drive to Kanket. On way you will be visiting the Dhokra bell metal worker village at Kondagaon and Iron Ore work village at Kideichapra. Then check into the Royal Palace of Kanrker and evening enjoy the traditional Muria Tribal Dance. Overnight stay at the Palace. |
| Day 18 | KANKER – KESKAL – RAJIM – BHORAMDEO (WEDNESDAY) | Check out from the palace with royal feeling and drive to Rajim known as Prayag in Chhattisgarh and home to various temples along the river confluence. En-route enjoy the drive through the zig zag trail of the Keshkal hills. Then evening check into a resort amidst the nature. Overnight stay. |
| Day 19 | BHORAMDEO TEMPLE, BAIGA, GOND TRIBAL VILLAGE (THURSDAY) | Morning after breakfast a short walk to Bhermodev area to visit the ancient Bhermodev temple and few villages. Afternoon visit the weekly tribal market of Baiga and Gond tribes at Chilpi. Overnight stay at Jungle retreat at Bhermodev. |
| Day 20 | BHORAMDEO – TAREGAON WEEKLY MARKET – BHORAMDEO (FRIDAY) | Morning free at the resort & afternoon visit to Taregaon weekly market to witness the Baiga Tribes. Overnight stay at Resort. |
| Day 21 | BHORAMDEO – RAIPUR – DELHI/MUMBAI/HYDERABAD | After breakfast check out from the resort and then transfer to the domestic airport at Raipur (4 hrs) for the onward destination. |
