DAY 01 :: BHUBANESWAR AIRPORT ARRIVAL
Meet & greet on arrival at Bhubaneswar airport and transfer to hotel. Rest for this day and prepare for the next 15-day trip of the Odisha & Chhattisgarh Tour. Overnight stay. (Should be Friday)
DAY 02 :: BHUBANESWAR – BALIGUDA
Post breakfast, leave for Baliguda visiting Atri Hot Sulphur Water, Itamati weaving village, and a few semi-tribal villages on the way. Stay in Baliguda. (Should be Saturday)
DAY 03 :: VISIT OF KUTIA KONDH (TATTOO FACED) TRIBAL VILLAGES
Full-day visit to Kutia Kondh (Tattoo Faced) tribal villages near Baliguda and places like Barakhamba, famous for Dhokra casting work. Return to hotel and stay overnight. (Should be Sunday)
DAY 04 :: BALIGUDA – RAYAGADA
Post breakfast, check out from the hotel and drive to Rayagada. Enroute visit Belaghar and Tumudibandh Kutia Kondh tribal villages. Overnight at Rayagada. (Should be Monday)
DAY 05 :: RAYAGADA – LANJIA SAORA VILLAGES – RAYAGADA
Full-day excursion to Lanjia Saora tribal villages. Post visit, return back to Rayagada and stay overnight. (Should be Tuesday)
DAY 06 :: RAYAGADA – CHATIKONA – JEYPORE
Morning excursion to Chatikona weekly market of Dongaria Kondh Tribes. Spend time in the market to witness primitive hill tribes. Return to Rayagada visiting a few Desia Kondh tribal villages. Then drive to Jeypore, visiting a few Mali Tribal villages on the way. Stay at Jeypore. (Should be Wednesday)
DAY 07 :: JEYPORE – ONUKUDELI – JEYPORE
Post breakfast, leave for Onukudelli weekly market of Bonda, Gadaba & Didayi tribes. Enjoy some quality time in the market and witness Bonda women with their traditional dress. You may also buy ornaments from Bonda ladies. After the market, return to Jeypore visiting Duduma Waterfall, a few Gadaba villages, Machkund Reservoir, and pottery-making villages. Stay at Jeypore. (Should be Thursday)
DAY 08 :: JEYPORE – KUNDULI MARKET – JEYPORE
After breakfast, visit Kunduli weekly market (the biggest vegetable market of Paroja Tribes). Then visit a few Paroja Tribal villages, pottery-making village, Koraput Jagannath temple, and Tribal Museum. Return to Jeypore and overnight stay. (Should be Friday)
DAY 09 :: JEYPORE – GUPTESWAR CAVE – DHURUBA TRIBAL VILLAGE – JEYPORE
After breakfast, visit Gupteswar Cave Temple, Dhuruba tribal villages, and their weekly market at Baligaon. Return to Jeypore and stay overnight. (Should be Saturday)
DAY 10 :: JEYPORE – JAGDALPUR
Post breakfast, check out from the Jeypore hotel and drive to Jagdalpur visiting the weaving village at Kotpad. Check into the hotel. In the afternoon, enjoy the Chitrakoot Waterfall (Niagara Fall of India) during sunset. Stay at Jagdalpur. (Should be Sunday)
DAY 11 :: JAGDALPUR – TIRATHGARH – BISON HORN TRIBE – JAGDALPUR
After breakfast, visit Jagdalpur local areas including Tirathgarh Waterfall. Visit the Bison Horn Dance tribal village and witness their dance (on direct payment basis). Also visit Tokapal weekly market. Return to Jagdalpur and overnight stay. (Should be Monday)
DAY 12 :: JAGDALPUR – KANKER
Post breakfast, check out from Jagdalpur and drive to Kanker. Enroute visit Kondagaon (Dokra casting village), Kideichapra (Iron work village), and witness Deer Horn dance in Maria tribal village. Check into the hotel at Kanker and stay overnight. (Should be Tuesday)
DAY 13 :: KANKER – SHIVRINARAYAN
Start the day with a visit to Ramnami Tribes in Shivrinarayan and explore nearby villages. Stay overnight at Shivrinarayan. (Should be Wednesday)
DAY 14 :: SHIVRINARAYAN – KAWARDHA / CHILPI
Drive to Kawardha / Chilpi and visit a few tribal villages enroute. Stay overnight. (Should be Thursday)
DAY 15 :: KAWARDHA / CHILPI – RAIPUR AIRPORT DROP
Morning visit to a few Gond Tribal villages and then drive to Raipur to catch an evening flight for onward journeys.
IMPORTANT: Kindly note that names of hotels mentioned above only indicate that our rates
have been based on usage of these hotels and it is not to be construed that accommodation
is confirmed at these hotels until and unless we convey such confirmation to you. In the
event of any of the above mentioned hotels not becoming available we shall book alternate
accommodation at a similar or next best available hotel and shall pass on the difference of
rates (supplement/reduction whatever applicable)
Bookings will be confirmed after receiving advance and on availability of hotels.
In case of non-availability of regular hotels, we will give you different options where rate of
package might increase or decrease depending on hotels selected.
During the journey if someone asks for extra money, you may inform us and we may not be
responsible if you pay without our consent.
We do not have any control on the food supplied at hotels.
Extra bed refers to extra mattress and not cot.
Some sightseeing spots have a weekly holiday and we won’t be able to compensate if you
are travelling on that day.
We cannot be held responsible for problems due to events that are not under our control
(weather, political demonstrations, airline & train delays, traffic jams, floods etc.).
We reserve the right to alter, amend, change or modify the tour package and itineraries
before or during the tour.
The Pilgrims/Tourists will take care of their belongings by themselves during the tour and we
take no responsibility for any misplacement, loss or damage for their belongings.
